This project has simple beginnings: it was inspired by my roommate’s obsession with mangos and avocados! Naturally, I chose her as my subject for this mini shoot, as she had recounted to me many stories of the fresh produce sold in the local markets of her hometown in Jamaica. I’d been wanting to experiment with a vibrant color palette for my next creative shoot as well, and this was the result.
